Introducing Advanced Electrolysis
All appointments are up to 15 minutes.
This treatment is very effective for skin tags with a small attachment to the skin, blood spots and fine red veins.
On the day of your appointment a consultation will be carried out by a fully qualified practitioner before proceeding to your treatment. They will explain the process and your expected outcome of your treatment. The number of treatments you require will depend on the number of tags and lesions you have, their size and how they respond to treatment. This will be discussed with you in your appointment.
Prior to your appointment you will be required to complete a simple pre-screen questionnaire.
Skin Tag Removal

Advanced Electrolysis treatment for skin tag removal is a virtually painless solution. You may experience some slight stinging whilst the tag is being removed but most find this only mildly uncomfortable. Utilising this method we cauterise skin tags using an electrolysis needle. This treatment removes skin tags without leaving any scars.

Immediately after you might see some discolouration and redness which is completely normal. A simple aftercare routine will be advised during your treatment.

Please note that every lesion is different in size and complexity and you may require more than one appointment. Your Practitioner can discuss this with you.

Blood Spot Removal

Blood spots or red moles are common skin growths made up of a collection of small blood vessels. They can develop on most areas of the body and are usually found on people over the age of 30. They’re also known as cherry angiomas and typically not any cause for concern unless it bleeds often or changes in size, shape or colour. Blood spots can be easily removed using Advanced Electrolysis and normally only require 1 treatment*. You will usually be able to have multiple spots removed in one session. Treatment time is 15 minutes.
Red Blood Spots are often bright red in colour and circular or oval in shape. They can be flat on the skin or raised spots, most often found on the torso, arms, legs & sometimes face. Their size can range from a pinhead to 0.5cm.
The exact cause of Red Blood Spots is unknown, but they have been linked to a genetic factor that can mean some people are much more likely to develop them than others. They can also occur in pregnancy; from exposure to certain chemicals & in different climates.
Once a Red Blood Spot has been treated there will be an initial redness in the area. This will usually go down after a couple of hours and aftercare will be discussed with you. You will notice over the next 2-4weeks the spot will turn brown as the healing process begins and a small scab forms; this will then naturally fall off and the skin will be healed underneath.

In some cases of larger sized blood spots, a course of treatments may be needed and will be discussed at your appointment.

Fine Red Vein Removal (Face & Neck)

Fine Red Thread Veins are small veins that commonly occur on the face and look like spider webs or threads. They are commonly caused by ageing, alcohol consumption, injury, exposure to harsh weather conditions and astringent products.
Fine Red Thread Veins can be safely and effectively removed using Advanced Electrolysis by cauterising the veins. Normally depending on the size of the area to be treated, a course of treatments is required. This will be discussed at your appointment.
Advanced Electrolysis for Fine Red Thread Veins is most effective on the face and neck only.
An initial redness is present straight after treatment and a simple aftercare routine is given for the following 24-48 hrs. Whilst the healing process is active there can be the occurrence of very small scabs and it may look as though the veins have returned. Once healed (usually within 2-4 weeks), the scabs will naturally fall off leaving the skin healed and clear. Removing red thread veins can really improve the over-all appearance of your complexion.

Multiple veins can be removed within the appointment time of 15 minutes.
