Reformer Pilates class types



Group Classes:
With a maximum of 8 attendees, our intimate group classes are aimed at attendees in general good health. We offer 6 different types of class:

  • Introduction to Reformer (30-minute class)

  • Gentle (50-minute class)

  • Beginner (50-minute class)

  • Open Level (50-minute class)

  • Intermediate (50-minute class)​​

  • Advanced (50-minute class)


Introduction to Reformer Class

A 30- minute taster class includes an introduction to the Reformer machine, how it works, and how to use the machine safely in a class environment.  This is followed with a practical introduction to Reformer Pilates with the opportunity to experience a few basic exercises on the Reformer putting into practice what you have been shown and experiencing the benefits of Reformer Pilates for yourself.

 

Gentle Group Class
These classes are aimed at those who want a slightly more gentle and slower paced class. Suitable for beginners, or those who want to build on their foundations of Reformer Pilates. With a focus on breathwork, full body movement, mobility and flexibility.

 

Beginner Group Class
These classes are targeted at beginners to Reformer Pilates, new to exercise or attendees looking to develop their grasp of the foundations of Reformer Pilates. A focus on building activating and engaging core, posture and form.

Open Level Group Class
Whether you are newer to Reformer Pilates or slightly more experienced, these classes run offering options to progress or regress the exercise allowing you the ability to work at the right level for you.

Intermediate Group Class
These classes are for those who have mastered the basics, are comfortable with their stability on the Reformer, and are ready to pick up the pace and ramp up the intensity of their workout. This class will feature more complex movements, working full body and challenging strength, mobility and balance. We recommend attending a minimum of 10 beginner or open level classes before attending this class.

Advanced Group Class

These classes are for those who have mastered the basics, are comfortable with their stability and control on the Reformer, and are ready to pick up the pace and ramp up the intensity of their workout. This class will feature more complex and challenging movements, quicker transitions between exercises, working full body and challenging strength, mobility and balance. We recommend a minimum of attending 20 classes before attending this class.

Semi-Private & Private Class Types

Semi-Private Classes:
With a maximum of 4 attendees, these 50 minute classes offer a middle ground between one-on-one personal training and group classes, enabling the teacher to provide individualised attention. Whether you want a little more personal focus or are working with a minor injury, this class type is for you.

Semi-Private Class
Whether you are newer to Reformer Pilates or slightly more experienced, these classes run offering options to progress or regress the exercise allowing you the ability to work at the right level for you.


Private 1:1 Sessions:
A tailored 50 minute session with yourself and the instructor.  Each class is built around your personal goals, fitness levels and any injuries you might have.  If you are recovering from an injury or operation, or perhaps just a desire to attend a bespoke class built around your fitness goals, this is the class for you.

Our memberships provide the best value for your Reformer classes, with varying numbers of classes a month available to best suit you. Memberships are recurring and payment is taken monthly.
